Dangote Doubles Capacity of Ibeshe Cement Plant

Aliko Dangote, president of Dangote Group, has increased the capacity of Dangote Cement Plc, Ibeshe, Ogun State plant from 6 million tonnes to 12 million tonnes per annum by adding two new lines.

Sunday Adondua, deputy manager, production/process and training coordinator, said of the new lines: Lines Three and Four, one has been commissioned and has since commenced production while the second will soon be commissioned.

The two new plants were completed within two and half years of the commissioning of Lines One and Two in July 2012 by President Goodluck Jonathan.
