Tony Tetuila also joins politics, to run for Kwara House of Assembly
About 12/13 years ago, Tony Tetuila was one of the hottest music stars in Nigeria. He hasn't done much music of late but has managed to keep himself relevant. He's just declared his intention to run for Kwara State House of Assembly, Irepodun Local Government.
Should we be worried? All these people from the music and film industry making power moves into politics. If they all leave, who will entertain us? :-)

Photo: Robber electrocuted at Iju
his is a dead pic of a robber who got electrocuted while trying to steal cable from a transformer just beside a house on Iju road by Lonlo bus stop. He apparently tried to steal the cable in the very early hours of today when he got electrocuted and remained in that position until residents woke up this morning. Residents say they are waiting for Government officials to come and carry his dead body.

LAGOS: 22 injured in domestic gas explosion
Twenty two people were, late on Monday afternoon, injured in a domestic gas explosion that occurred in Epe, Lagos State. The injured victims, including six teenagers, are currently receiving treatment at Epe General Hospital, according to report from Nigerian Tribune The incident occurred from one of the cooking gas cylinders at 21, Jolayemi Street, after a cooking exercise by one of the occupants. Director of the Lagos State Fire Service, Rasak Fadipe, confirmed the incident adding that fire fighters assisted in the rescue of the victims. conitinue....

About 120 million girls around the world – slightly more than one in 10 – have been raped or sexually assaulted by the age of 20, a UN report says. Falcao set for Man United loan
Monaco striker Radamel Falcao will join Manchester United on a season long loan, a source close to the deal told Reuters on Monday.
The 28-year-old has scored 11 goals in 20 appearances for Monaco after joining from Atletico Madrid for a fee of around €50 million last year.
Colombia international Falcao, who missed the World Cup after suffering a serious knee injury, had been linked with several top European clubs including Real Madrid.
Falcao will compete with regular striker Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie for a place in Louis van Gaal's new-look United side.
